Is this an LACS guitar?
Hi I'm new here. But I have the opportunity to buy an supposed LACS-guitar. It got mahogny body, neck-thru, emg 81/85, sharkfins, edge pro and is 1-2 years old.
Edit:
Any remarks?

Re: Is this an LACS guitar?
wow, stud-locks, neck-thru, matt black, the only white thing being the logo! cool!
looks like a custom made, but more probably Japan-made, not LA. nothing stamped on the back of the headstock?

Edit: Nevermind missunderstood you.
Only thing I can tell from the pictures is a serial or something at the back of the headstock. There is usually a logo stamped there?

yep, LAxxxx if LACS or Fxxxxxxx if Jap. actually, looking it better, seems like i was wrong. that's what i can get out of the back pic (the first posted above):
looks pretty much an LACS serial number, the first two letters read "LA" (likely to be LA101708?) check an example here:

Re: Is this an LACS guitar?
nikt - Nice to hear.
The seller is/was very friendly (is it CLONE on this forum?). Gave me lots of information on the guitar, and an extra set of strings to name a few. Now I just have to wait for the shipping of the guitar... hopefully it will arrive today or monday. Ahh the pain!
Fender868 - Yeah I noticed that too when I was checking some pictures, but the RGT42xxx looks killer to me so I am satisfied. :P

Not my most expensive guitar, but it's my first up guitar nowadays. Quite a feat to pull for a korean made ibby. Can't wait to see how the SK is gonna screw with my rig :P>

Re: Is this an LACS guitar?
it looks like an rgt42 because it is one. the LACS just refinished it.
but that finish does look tasty and must make it play better because i personally hate the current rgt42's because of their glossy finish.

Hey.
I’m curios here.
Have you bought the guitar?
If so, are you happy with it?

Got it today at lunch. But it's at home while I'm at work...
But It was in awsome condition and I really like the painting. Haven't played it yet though, that will be after work. Hell, I think I will quit my job now; "hey boss, I'm off, have a babe waiting for me at home. No not an alive one...(unfortunatly). And btw I'm going to be home for a couple of weeks."
