Anyone play on a J-Custom 1302? I just bought one and am having it shipped over right now. Just want to know if anyone has any experience with them. It's got two Humbucker from Hell pickups with an Ash body right now. I intend to either ditch the body and build a new one for it or just top it with a Veneer and change the pickups. (It's a used guitar and the body is kinda beatup, but hey.. it was pretty cheap and probably makes a good project guitar)
I don't own any guitar with an Ash body and have never actually heard the Humbucker from Hell. Any recommendations on pickups for the exising Ash body or a body made of Korina/Maple would be appreciated. (I'm trying to stay away from the Tone Zone &
Evolution pickups as well as the
Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB & EMG pickups in general)
