J-Custom GEAR - modified! - yes... its not original anymore.

But... it sounds SO much better.. *Thanks to the help and talent of Chris (vaijem777), we replaced the Super3 in the bridge with an EVO, and the Blue Velvet single with a TA noiseless. *The result is a very strong ,tighter bridge sound and a noiseless, clear single sound. *Had no probs wiring the whole setup, and no routing to accomodate the TA single.. *And it DEFINATELY sounds better now. *Thanks Chris!!

Whew....it's only a pickup swap....calm down Kevan....it'll be ok.

I'm glad to hear you didn't sand down the front or anything like that. :-)
Congrats on the new sound. *I'm glad you dig it.

BTW- J-Custom.com is now online. *:-)

Actually, I was thinking of letting my 5 year old son do his best "Picaso" on it....

It's an "ok" guitar now. *I should have gotten out the router and put a Monkey Grip in it...and a Lion's Claw...and another Evo in the neck...and some vine inlays...THEN it would almost be playable! *LOL

(In all honesty, it really DOES sound 100% better now!)

I found that wood grain a little too deep. Try using some wood filler to smooth out the top. That should make it as good as those fancy 470's I have seen.
