J-Custom JCRG-1S NT - Opinions needed

I have a chance to buy a J-Custom JCRG-1S NT. It looks really good and the shape and condition of the axe is very good too. Is that model recommendable? I have been looking for a neckthrough for quite some time. Wanted the RGT220H SOL, but that one is discontinued and after all I guess the J-Custom should be a lot better?

The JCustom JCRG-1S-NT has a different neck profile than the RGT220H SOL. It predates the RGT220 an I think the neck has some sort of gloss finish. The quality is about the same but with maybe better fretwork on the Jcustom. I'd probably skip on the JCRG-1S NT myself. It's too plain a JCustom for me. Unless you can get it for really cheap, try looking for a JCRG-2/RG9570 or a RGT320.

I don't know much about j-customs, so would you care explaining why it's too plan j-custom for you? I don't have any high-end Ibanez's in my collection yet (just 1570, 550, 555 and a couple more) so I don't know much about "real quality" stuff.

Your reasons for choosing either a JCRG-2/RG9570 or a RGT320 would be...?

I own a JCRG-2

The JCRG-1 was just too boring for me. I like my maple tops .
