J-Custom Question

I've recently become infatuated by the wonderful J-Custom series and I've got enough money to afford one. My only real problem now is finding one. I've had my eye on the RG8670, but I can't find it anywhere. I'd really like to know any information about getting them. Just give me a site and please mention whether or not it ships to Canada. I'm sort of a noob to J-Customs, but I'm looking forward to becoming part of this forum community.

Cheers.

Re: J-Custom Question

Do a search. There are at least a couple threads on importing J-Customs. Also, if buddroyce will chime in. If memory serves, he manages a guitar shop in Canada and he had some in stock.

Here's a start for ya; http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showth...8&page=4&pp=20

Re: J-Custom Question

Well I'm not buying one at this exact moment. I actually do have to scratch up a little more cash. So does anyone know if these transactions are generally safe, or am I at risk of getting ripped off?

Re: J-Custom Question

If do so, the best way is go with Ishibashi, write them a e-mail in English, then they will help you up, good luck for hunting man!!!

Re: J-Custom Question

Also, are they ever putting the RG8670 (or an equivalent guitar) back into production? I looked at the 8270F, but it has a rosewood fretboard, worse wood, etc.

Re: J-Custom Question

I don't think they will bring back the RG8670 to the production line, Ibanez always like to play the Discoutinued & Limited Editon model game, so if you see one you really like, just buy it, otherwise you won't find them easily after.

Re: J-Custom Question

thegeetarnoob, PM me if you're looking for some JC's. Alternatively you could also check out Ishibashi. They're good folks, that's where I got my very first JC from a while ago(my collection has expanded since then).
