I've heard nothing about this. Can't be true though it would be great if they were to do it. The only J Custom Art's available are the original 1997 models, production figures supposed to be 24-48 guitars in total.

also, what is the approximated value for an rg art? it seems to be around the $1500 mark? should that be the price for a used one?

I just got one for around that, no case, headstock chip, non original neck pickup.

It cleaned up well - see other thread.

why in gods name would they reissue this model... A reissue is because they previously sold 1000's of a model and its still sort after like the 550..

Those cool J customs from the 90's wont be repeated, maybe new stuff, but not reissued.
