J Custom RG1880 or RG8570?

Anyone know what this is? 'Cause I can't figure it out. It's *SUPPOSED* to be either an RG1880 or an RG8570. But which one is it?

It's supposed to be a '02 or an '03 model. Anyone know if the 8570's ever came with a quilt top in a natural finish?

I was about to quickly say that it was an RG8570NT but now that I see the inset strap locks I am thinking that it has to be an RG1880. I am pretty sure that Ibanez made a special RG1880 in quilt natural but I am not completely sure, though I would say with about 99.9% cetainty that it is a special 1880, because Ibanez ditched the inset strap locks once they started labeling the J-Custom's JCRG-X.

One thing, I forgot to mention is that there is no way that guitar is an '02 or '03 because Ibanez stopped using the inset strap locks in 2001 (when the JC-RGX labeling started); also, I found that in 2000 Ibanez made an RG1880S-NT, the features line up perfectly to the model you have pictured (including the pearl nickel hardware, which is unique for that model). I am guessing that that is what it is and that it just happens to have a more "quilty" looking flame top.

I just bought a 8570MTB last week. I don't think that belongs to the series.
