J-Custom RG8470z - 5-Way Pickup Switchout

Hey y'all.

I've got my new 8470z and it sounds great, but I'd like to play around with the pickups and get rid of the single-coil hum.

Here is the guitar:

I'd like to switch out the pickups and replace them with:
DiMarzio PAF Joe (neck)
DiMarzio Cruiser (middle)
DiMarzio Breed (bridge)

DiMarzio suggests that I get a new switch (EP 1112) installed so that I can split the Cruiser as well.

I plan on putting the original pickups into another guitar sometime in the future, but what I really want to do is get rid of the 60 cycle hum of the Blue Velvet single-coil.

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of setup?

There are a few guys over at the dimarzio forum that have a simialr setup. It's quite versatile for a solid 'rock' guitar tone.
