J custom with pink yellow plasma swirl in Bangkok please advise

Hi guys Im currently on holidays in Thailand. I am in Bangkok and visited the music district. It has 2 Ibanez shops opposite each other with almost every ibanez guitar ever made. Its amazing !!!

I am looking at buying this J custom guitar. 2 different models, one a blue and pink plasma swirly type with blue dimarzios not sure what type and a pink and yellow plasma swirly type with pink dimarzios. I played them and they feel awesome

I can buy it for $1750 AUS is this a good price ?? any thoughts

They also have a brand new never played mint Maxxis in green. So many ibanez guitars I don't know what to choose

please advise ASAP

Both are rare but IMO fugly as all hell...but the Paint1 has a maple board, right?

They wouldn't happen to have a Egypt or Time around, would they?

The price sounds nice - if it's new or in excellent condition.

The colour scheme is a matter of taste. I myself have the Urushi Multicolour and I couldn't see myself on the stage with it playing f.e country music, but as som geezer wrote on the Ibanez register:
"...Put it this way, even if your playing is not memorable, at least your guitar will be! ..."

It's a pleasure to play for sure and it really stands out from the line - Go for it! Or go with the Egypt if they have one...

Those are not really swirls though, they are just painted or something.

Depends on how you like the color scheme, it is not my cup of tea. But they are quite rare and if you like em go for it as price seems to be cool.

ahahahah yeah i know, but you never know.

Actually the shop has x3 RG-PAINT guitars, 2 display models, RG-PAINT1 and RG-PAINT2 and a brand new one sitting out the back which the owner hasn't checked which one he has. they also have RG-PAINT3 and 4

They are all brand new but the display model has signs of sitting in the glass case for the last 9 years. The shop is packed full of ibanez models including a brand spankin new green maxxis. Looks like no one ever buys from there, cause most of the population can't afford them. its nuts they have around 100 brand new ibanez models. Im am trying to score the guitar for 60000 baht which includes a case and a brand new Ibanez jem FP neck. I know the shop is legit, cause its the only ibanez distriubtor for thailand connected to the ibanez website.

Man $1750 Aus sounds like a great deal considering that's less than retail here on an RG1570. I'd been thinking of going to Thailand for a Muay Thai holiday, thinking maybe a guitar buying holiday is a better option now...and a lot less painful lol
