Jake Bowen signature!

After browsing several forums one notes that there is a huge anticipation for what could a new signature model for 2014, with sites like dimarzio stating that new pickups have been made for his new signature ibanez. Rich any news on this? Also check out this guys guitar if you haven't already it is an amazing peice of work and on my hit list.

Yes--there is a Jake Bowen sig in the works.

He talks about it briefly in the Titan video clip.

Yep, the prototype looks killer. Just read my first review on the Titan pickups too. I'm excited to try them. Got a set, along with some Illuminators to review. The Titans sound perfect for what I like to play.

Remember, Jake has a beard because his girlfriend likes it!

I'm a big Periphery fan, so I'm looking forward to seeing this guitar realised. Jake has also said he wouldn't put his name to a guitar he's not happy with, so I think this one should be a great addition to the Ibanez line up.

Re: Jake Bowen signature!

If the final guitar is going to look exactly like what he uses in the Dimarzio Titan video - then I'll be all over this guitar. Only thing that worries me is pricing. But I love the finish, gold pickups, and reverse headstock. Guitar looks absolutely killer.

A reverse head RGA with direct mount DiMarzios....... hell yeah, but again- there's no tone knob which kinda leaves me out. Am I the only person left that actually uses the tone knob anymore??

Anyway, the one in the Titan vid has a Lo-Pro on it. I don't think Ibanez is gonna pull those out again...... here's to hoping though.

This one?

?

I DO like that body.

Not sure about the pickups

I've always thought Ibanez should make the RG body a bit more "sleeker" and less "long"

IMHO

Just got the Titan pickups installed last night and took them for a quick spin. They are killer! If the guitar is anything like his pickups then it's going to be a weapon.

Yup, that is it!! I would love for that to be a full production model. As I stated above, I am just worried about pricing. The new JEM, JS2410, AT100CL, APEX100 pricing makes me think I am not going to be too happy.
