JCRG-2 (J custom) Trans blue guitar for sale

Hi guys,

I have been playing guitar for about 6 years and been doing vocals for about 4-5. I've just started singing for a power metal band and have basically decided that it's time to sell my lovely J custom guitar to free up some cash, and buy a lesser guitar whilst i concentrate on my vocals.

essentially, i just want to know how much this guitar should be sold for and to find out if anyone is interested...

I bought the guitar for £1500, second hand. It has one chip on the rear facing edge and a few other miniscule bits of wear and tear. There is no visible damage or wear that can be seen from the front. This guitar is in very good condition.

I also have a prestige hardcase with trem and alan keys etc.

I haven't taken pictures yet, but this is the exact same type of guitar:

I really love the blue flamed maple top. My RG4EXFM1 has the same finish except it's an indo made guitar. Good buy though.

Before a moderator comes along this here is in the wrong place and it'll be moved to the Classifieds. I think according to the rules here you must state your location in your profile and put a price on the guitar. Good Luck with the sale.

But more importantly - this isn't a classified ad. I'm asking how much it should be sold for and how popular it is.

Also, i'm new to this forum, and the rules are not made clear to new starters.

Moderate that

Peace dude! The title of your thread does say 'JCRG-2 (J custom) Trans blue guitar for sale'.

JC's hold their price pretty well. If I owned the guitar I'd be looking in the region of £1200-£1400 assuming that you are UK based.

Anyone else know a good price to sell it for? I've seen one on **** for $2100!

Yeah i'm UK based, daemon.

I'm fairly reluctant to put this bad boy on **** at the moment!

in all truth, here and e-b-a-y are your best shots for a decent price, i'm gassing for something entirely differant atm or i'd probably put an offer your way.

i'd consider £1k as an absolute minimum, maybe 1250 starting on bay?

Re: JCRG-2 (J custom) Trans blue guitar for sale

monfluffy, you'd be mad to take anything less than what it's worth mate. That is a great guitar. Problem is at the mo nobody is buying big on *bay UK at the minute. There are currently 4 J Customs on *bay at the minute and they haven't attracted a single bid between them and 2 of those have been on for months upon months. If you sell it on *bay as well once you've paid your fees including Paypal you'd be looking at shaving at least £100 of your final value fee.

I'd be very interested in that guitar but the 2 I have for sale at the minute are attracting very little interest as well. You could try putting an ad up here in the Classifieds. There was a French guy who put up an ad only last week in the Classifieds and he was looking to buy a J Custom.
