JCRG1712 & JCRG 8620 recent mods

Just thought I'd share my most recent mods on these two guitars. The purple JCRG1712 got a 1991 USA Custom abalone split block inlay neck. The JCRG8620 got all gold hardware and a set of Bare knuckle Rebel Yell's! I think the gold looks way better than the cosmo hardware. Let me know what you think!

I like your taste in guitars man. Lovely quilted and spalted maple tops
And as for the mods, I think you did a great job, and I don't usually like gold hardware.

That was a nice mod to your JCRG1712 - The block inlay looks fantastic!
The gold hardware works very well on that guitar
By the way, it is ALWAYS nice to your RG8620S!!!!
I am glad that you enjoy modifying them - It is always tastefully done.
You should post an updated pic of the whole gang.

I just saw the pickup selector for the 1712 (http://jcustom.web.fc2.com/rg1712.htm). It is pretty rare to see it wired stock like that. If you haven't modded it - what do you think of the tone options? And is position 4 "two North coils" or a North and South?

Hey man,
I also have an 8620s... can't say I like the gold hardware... in fact I think it's a horrible thing to do to that axe.. but that's cool... each to their own.
How do the Knuckles sound...?
