JCustom and UK Customs (Custom service not custom shop :PP) :)

Hey,

I was googling for it and checking the forum also but all the information is regarding the PS3 or pretty old.

I've bought a new JCustom from Japan. Here is a bit of a tracking info:

So the last update is 17:24 which was about 9am in England.

So I dont have any update on the parcel for 3 days. I'm just wondering if it normally takes so long or should I bother them calling and asking whats going on with my guitar?

Does anyone know the number to coventry customs?

It can take a couple of working days, and there has been a weekend in between, so don't expect an update for another day or so.

Also, tracking times are usually local, so 17:24 is UK time.

I've had problems with that Coventry depot before. Last time I had something shipped from America, they had it in their depot for almost 2 weeks before they delivered it! They blamed customs!
Another time, they dropped a card saying that they attempted delivery and had returned it to the depot. So I get home from work, find the card and go over to pick the guitar up. They couldn't find it and after over two hours of searching they called the driver. He told them that he left it with a neighbour and forgot to drop another card!! Dickhead!!

Btw, they'll send out a letter to you listing the taxes and their own holding charge of around £15! So I'd probably wait for that first

Ok so thinking it is really a local time not Japan time they are keeping this for 2 days now. Think I will need to give them some more time Anyway I willing to drive there allt he way from London and put my hands on this axe DDD

Waiting is a killer factor, hate this!

Also what I just remembered is that this parcel is declarded for about $400 when the value is much more than that. What will happen in situation that they will investigate the parcel more and will realise that it is worth more thats been stated?

Are they investigating every single parcel like this?

They have never contacted me asking about the price, so I assume they will charge me off from the $350 as it was stated.
