just got a rg3120 in today

i bought this from ****. it went for $406 and had a mistake on the listing as having major cosmetic flaws so there weren't much bids on it. i got it in today and there isn't a scratch on it, it actually looks like it was never played, only thing wrong is it was missing the rear trem cover.

I really like the flame on that RG3120. I think my red one has a great flame too but I have seen some that are awful. And you paid much less for yours than I did. Excellent Buy!

That is a nice flame. The flame on the 570ct is nice, too... but it's not real.

here is the auction number 2564415224 , you can see how it was listed. the frets show no wear and the pots and switch feel like they've never been used. it looks black in the picture on the auction and looks blue in my pic but in person it looks green. there is also no wear at all on the bridge. i can't believe the condition of this guitar, i always check **** and didn't catch this one until bduersch pointed it out to me. i'll have to send him a six pack or something.

Congrats, man! That's a beautiful 3120 specimen and one heck of a deal as well!

Please send all 6-packs to...

Now thats twilight blue; I have seen probably 30 or 40 3120's over the last 2 years and I have only seen two that have a stain as nice and as dark as that one.

Nice snag, shaddoe! One of the best 3120 finishes I've seen.

I swear that a couple years into production Ibanez changed the shade of blue used on 3120-TW's... mine is one of the darker ones as well, but it seems whenever I go to Guitar Center or Sam Ash the ones up on the wall are more of a "dark turquoise" than "twilight blue".

I got mine this summer. Beautiful guitars aren't they

as many people have said, thats an awesome flame. Also, you seem to have been able to photograph the guitar and have the colours come out right. Every other picture of a 3120 Ive seen (including in ibanez catalogues) the colour is screwed up.

i have another one coming in friday from Chameleonfong that i bought from the classifieds from this site. when i angle the guitar it looks blue but when i look strait at it it looks green. i'm guessing that because when you clear flame maple the flames give a kinda gold look so thats whats giving it the green look but when the flash hits it the blue color shows. this is the 3120 that will be here friday, i'll take side by side pics to see if they look different. this flame looks to be more on an angle than the other one.
