Just got RG8127...Missing Cert!

Lonnnngggg time, no post.

I just got a JC RG8127 off the bay. The transaction was the best I've had there and the seller even overnight shipped the thing for free. I paid about 1350.00 for this thing and, besides a semi deep scratch on back of neck, is in brand new condition. I'm a very happy camper. But, the seller didn't send the cert! I inquired and his parents (who took care of the deal) couldn't find the cert. He said he will look himself when he gets home this weekend (college kid I assume)

So, what if I don't end of getting the cert? The guitar was advertised as having the cert and it was shown in the pics. Should I ever decide to part with this amazing instrument, would not having the cert affect the value of the guitar?

BTW....absolutely amazing instrument. Destroys my 1820x in quality and rivals every upper end PRS, Parker, etc I've ever put my hands on. I'll never go back to just a regular prestige.

Well, the cert. is certainly worth something but for the price you paid, I would not be too broken up. The J-Customs are certainly a cut above the regular stuff and you got a great deal in my opinion, even without the paperwork.
