K7 for $600

Hey guys, so I found a K7 for $600 and I am thinking about buying it. I contacted the shop that has it and I am waiting to see and hear more about it. The picture that I have seen has the UV case and the front is perfect. No U-bar just a normal edge trem bar.

Should I pull the trigger? I have been wanting a 7 for sooo long, I did want to go with a 1527 so I could install piezo on the saddles but maybe I should just go for the deal (as long as it is as good as it looks) and get piezo on my 2570.

Input?

Re: K7 for $600

I have a mint 1527 someone wants to sell me for $600 too, the edge pro would be nice for piezo installation, also I know it is in perfect condition.

The K7 is on Guitar Center's used section btw so if someone else wants to snatch it I guess it is fine. I want the 1527 more but the K7 feels like a deal I can't pass up.

Why can't I just buy both.... haha

No you absolutely shouldn't, you should buy mutual funds. End of story.

Re: K7 for $600

K7 = Mahogany body and Lo Pro Edge. 1527 = Basswood body and Edge Pro. Advantage K7 on all counts. The only thing I don't like about the K7 is that dumb ass inlay, but it is a far better guitar and worth much more than a 1527. $600 for one in good shape in a hard case is a steal. $600 for a 1527 is average.

It sold out before I could even call back their guitar center. So I bought the 1527, plus that inlay is so gross haha.
