Done! The problem is my mistake on installing the bushes. The dotted side should be installed toward the arm's tip. Anyway how long the tape trick will last?

Depending on how much whammying you do, it should last for a couple of weeks. On normal usage, it should go for longer than a month. I've had the tape ony JS1000 for a couple of months and it's still holding up relatively firm, though there's just a tad of looseness when I sit down, as the arm swivels toward the volume button and it stops there.

1.) You kidding me? I LOVE that album. Different strokes for different folks, I guess, and maybe it's a generation thing, but...
2.) He does a lot of bar slurs on his "Home" lead break, at the very least.

What happens if you wrap the tape and THEN put the bushings on? Seems like the tape would last a while then.

That's the intended purpose, the bushing are put on over the tape.
