Looking back @ 1991 - What a cool Ibanez year!

I was looking back through the Ibanez, The Untold Story book that I got with one of my Prestige guitars last year. I looked at the year 1991 and it brought back memories of one of my favorite Ibanez years. The Donnie Hunt JS3s and the USA Custom Shop guitars of that year were just awesome.

Both my UVs are 1991 models. I love that year too, alot of great Ibanez guitar models. I really like the S 5407 too.

I have a '91 RG770DXLB. Bought it new in April '92, the same time my wife bought her '91 RG550EG. They didn't even list Emerald Green as an option in '91, but our guitar has a '91 serial. They're two of my favorite guitars and I wouldn't trade 'em for anything! I've got an '01 UV777, and an '04 RG770, too. And I'm starting to think about adding a J-custom or a Jem...

Best guitars I've ever played, man. They just fit me.

I've bought and sold many guitars over the years, but I've never been able to let go of my '91 RG570....it looks like hell but I still love it.

Mine too, in fact you got me to dig out my catalog collection..that year by far has seen the most use. (I think I just set myself up for a joke with that.
