Meh.. I kinda figured they'd get a replacement for the old Vintage Violin 7 string JC's. If they get a trans-blue one with a maple board (7 string version of the RG8570M-TB) I'd rush out to get that.

At least there's more than just BX for the RG8427.

Yeah...Ibanez updated their site for the new J Customs awhile ago...


I really don't like the look of that certain color but the other ones are pretty sweet imo.

If that thing had a maple board I'd cry...

I realize the VV/FE whatever color is a little played, but Im just happy to see any new JC7 choices out there.

why no trans greens or soemthing. i'm not even a huge fan of green, but c'mon try something new. that rg7 says "fire agate".. that pic looks NO Different than Vintage Violin. they keep coming out with new RG models, but they all look pretty much exactly the same as the ones before. c'mon ibanez. just give us some options, even if they cost more for the consumer. every other company does it. i'd be all over the 8 string if they would let me pick something other than freaking black... but thats that, i guess

I hear ya.

I want a maple board, too. Maple or ebony.

I see a lot of posts about people wanting maple boards. I wonder if Ibanez is listening.
