How about tremolo or non tremolo? How much price range should be?
Please give us little more specific detailed information.
I can't promise you guys anything yet but I will present "RGA7" idea to the Hoshino Gakki guitar meeting next time.

Re: Megadeth's Chris Broderick LACS

That thing is absolutely beautiful! I'm glad Chris hopped on board with Dave. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another sort of Marty Friedman type collaboration. Chris is a great guy, it should be an interesting combo. I'm really surprised though that he is actually playing in 7,, I figured that extra string would push Dave right over the edge.

It's the lighting. There's only one guitar. Okay, I guess it's more "transparent black" than purple.... but it does look kinda violet colored. It's not really green at all though. You can see a bunch of pictures of the guitar on Chris Broderick's myspace page.

It's an RGA7 with Edge Pro, non-locking graphite nut, and locking tuners.

There is only one guitar. Any difference in pickups is because the guitar originally came with Dimarzio pickups, because the Bare Knuckle Pickups weren't ready yet. So, like someone else said, the pickups have probably been changed by now.

I agree that the guitar is very awesome, although I like the S series better. I really like the reverse headstock and the quilted top though. I think some kind of combination between this guitar and Buz McGrath's LACS S7's would be pretty sweet.

I'm not a 7 string player though... although I'm getting interested in trying one out. I've been checking out the Carvin DC747's... heh...

Yeah man, I posted a link on the other page.

Aye, that was me too! LOL.

Me too! I just can't afford one. I'd buy a quilt-top cherry sunburst DC727 with black hardware and fixed bridge if I could.

Did some Photoshop fun:
Here we go:

Side by side.

B/W contrast.

I have just put a name on her: VIVIAN!!! Compare the two B/W pics above.
They're the same maple pattern.

Yes, that's what I was thinking and was surprised it took 3 pages for the comment to be made. All Megadeth songs are 6-string songs. Several Megadeth songs even have a root of A instead of E. So not sure what Chris would use the 7th string for in a Megadeth concert?!

Good spotting! Like Tubarão Guitars's photoshop pics have shown, it's the one guitar.
I own an RGA321FSPB and it is simply stunning. So I do hope that Ibanez decide to mass produce a line of these RGA7's so everyone who wants one can get one!

Good form Tubarao. The photoshop pics have convinced me.
Thanks. Regardless of color, it is a fine looking guitar.

Re: Megadeth's Chris Broderick LACS

I was wondering why I haven't seen Chris playing his green RGA. I guess its because he doesn't have one.
Maybe there's something about the carved top that makes it hard to photo in different lighting.
When I first saw this pic I thought it was a really unique finish.

But then I realized it was just sapphire blue.

Same thing with the new RGA in black onyx.

Sounds like someone's a little bit jealous of a professional's expensive guitar, huh? My custom guitar has sperzel locking tuners with a floyd rose, and a bone nut. You dont NEED a locking nut if you have good quality locking tuners. All it is is another thing to unlock and be annoying for when you have to change strings. Edumacation is good, indeed.

Edit: ive read a few more posts and it seems that our resident guitar genius is just here to rile people up. Sorry I wasted my time posting =P

Here's a video of Chris playing this guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di9UXIHUH84

Thanks for the comparisonpics tubarao, now we know for sure. Amazing how different the colors can be. On stage it definitely looks purple though.

Funny thing about this finish, though. On sites like scamash.com and such the RGA321 saphire looks somewhat crap, but the pics posted here are absolutely stunning!

Even above tuner's really is the nut. No locking nut works great if whatever you replace the locking one with is very finely polished. A bone nut works beautifully when it's cleaned up nice, and perfect for no string catching.
