No. I pretty much suck. Used to play a lot back in the day when I did it for a living, and I still wasn't anything special. Now I've got a job, family, etc., and don't get to jam very often. But I've always loved Ibanez guitars. So I just buy what I can when the opportunity presents itself. It's not like I got all of these yesterday. That's about nine years of gathering in those pics!

Re: My Collection - Updated Pics (Finally)

You have some serious collectors in there! Your missing a 770 - the purple one! That was my Frist Ibanez guitar! I was 16 I think - saved my own money to buy it.

Impressive! Jealous! That would make for a nice wall art room with them all hanging!

Agreed. I'll get a purple one eventually - those are beautiful guitars! And I've got a couple of walls picked out already for display cases!

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I really appreciate it! To answer a few questions:

the usa cusom guitars are one of the best out there.did you have a place were they hang or all case queens?
I found them everywhere from pawn shops, to the 'Bay, to forums like Jemsite. And of course, the biggest cause of my deteriorating bank account these days is Rich at Ibanez Rules! You just gotta keep looking. They're still out there. Right now they all stay cased up, but I'm building a display for them.

Trust me, some of them have quite a bit of wear. For the USAC's, I'd say 70% of them are very good to excellent, with a couple of mint ones in there. The others are normal wear and tear, with one or two that have heavy wear. I'm not a big fan of relics, so I may restore and re-clear those at some point.

If I understand correctly, you're asking how many are rare or one-offs? The Mike Lipe painted USAC is rare according to Lipe himself, as he said it was the only USAC to get that paint job. It looks very similar to Rocky George's LACS from back in the day, but apparently they didn't make it a regular production option. The Green Eyes graphic is the only one, according to the artist who painted it, Pamelina. It was a demo piece as a proposed production graphic, but didn't make the cut. Same for the R-N-R graphic. Other graphics, such as Sea Monster, Metal Web, Get Me Out of Here, Get it Away, and my favorite, Chop Shop, are not one-offs, but they had very low production numbers.

Eh. They're ok. I'm a total guitar bigot. I can't bring myself to buy anything else. I used to play Charvel and Kramer back when I first started playing, but then I got my first Ibby, and that was pretty much that. I've tried a few others since, but I never liked anything else well enough to spend the money. I've played Strats, Les Pauls, PRS, etc., and they're nice, just not for me. I definitely have brand loyalty, for better or worse.

Tough call. Right now, I'd say the best tones are out of the AT's and maybe the Kotzen clones (PAF Joe's and MoJoe's). The ones that play the best? Probably the RG560's, just because those are the ones I play the most and have spent the most time getting the setup right. But they're all fun to play.
