Nice! I love all those woods. The inlay's pretty trick too.

Re: My growing prestige collection

The SC really surprised me when I first got it. Surpassed all my expectations. The finish, neck and inlay, all gorgeous. Love the figured maple neck binding - very J custom. Stellar tone too. Honestly the finest guitar I've laid my hands on.

All I need now is an SZ1220, and I'll have all the S variants

Don't forget the SV (even if it's not a prestige one)

The SC is a really fine guitar !
My SC3120 J Custom really looks nice and it's a very subtle instrument !
I'd love to have a 1620 too.

The very first Prestige were really magnificient (BL1025, RG3120, AR2000 !!! and SC 1620)

I have an SV470! It's one of my favorites. Then there is the SF470, which I owned for a few months and stupidly sold. It has a Gibralter II/Quickchange II fixed bridge and a 24 3/4" scale.

I also have a 430SII (see my recent post in "Post pics of your own Custom modded Ibanez")

Re: My growing prestige collection

ah, good to see the S-Classic Prestige.... back in 1998, this guitar gave me tremendous GAS & i kinda pestered my dealer to bring it in but when they agreed to do so, the model was discontinued. fortunately, there's the SZ Prestige as consolation for me, it retained pretty much the SC headstock but the body isn't that dual curved design i revere. nevertheless, i bought it for its impressive tone & playability

Nice SZ2020. So you'd recommend this guitar? Did you compare it to the SZ1220(Japanese version)?
