My new guitar ! RG 2820, pics inside !

Here you go guys, pics of my new Ibanez RG 2820, a pretty popular guitar these days.

I've kept the stock pickups (the Ibanez/DiMarzio ones) for now, they sound pretty good, but not as good as the real ones =)

I love this guitar with all my heart =)

PS. Sorry for the fuzziness of 2 of them ...

Here's a dark picture of my Marshall MG 250 DFX. It's fitted with 2 12 inch 50 watt celestions ! With my new guitar and this amp, I can get any recent metal sounds I want =)

Congrats on the fine axe

The Dimarzio/IBZ pups own the V-series pickups, they're not bad at all. The main reason that I changed them on this guitar is that I wanted to get my own personal touch in it. It's just that with the pup-change you will literally have killer material in your hands, and noone can bitch about the pups

Ultra neck?

How do you rate the Ultra neck? Is it still pretty thin? Is it fast? Anything like a wizard???

It resembles the Viper the most of all Ibanez necks. It is definately beefier than the wizard is. It's not a pure speeding neck like the wizard is, that doesn't mean you can't go fast on it (it's a prestige all right ). If the action is right this neck can do anything, but I might be a bit subjective

Thanks a lot for your comments guys !

The IBZ/DiMarzio pickups are definetly better sounding then the Vs ! They've really impressed me so far.

The guitar retailed 1399,99 CAN. With the tax in all it ended up at 1600$. I'm not sure Rich has them, you should email him.

Pawel, might it be possible I saw you the day I bought it ? You we're trying out a Line 6 amp ?

I love the Ultra neck ! The wizard is a bit too thin for me so I actually end up playing faster on the a bit more thicker Ultra one. It's REALLY confortable too. There's specs on this site, you should check it out.

I highly doubt the production ended due to high sales. This guitar is really popular AND a really good value =)

Is the neck profile on this thinner or thicker than the RG 3120 ?
