My New RG2550!! PIC HEAVY

I finally found the perfect deal. After 9 months of searching, forum browsing, and tons of research, I found the right guitar for me. I had been playing this guitar at a local music store's consignment shop for about a month and I'd have to say it grew on me. This guitar was supposed to be "used" but it was literally untouched. I don't think the strings had ever been changed from the factory, and there was not one single nick or ding on the entire guitar. Absolutely no wear on the cosmo-bridge and the fine tuners were completely scratch free. I can only assume the person bought the guitar, didn't like it, and decided to sell it and kept her in the closet meanwhile. Changing the strings at home, I put more wear and tear on the guitar than it already had on it. The guitar was listed at $599 in the store, I asked the shop to contact the seller and ask if he would sell it for $500, he obliged. So, for 1/2 the price of a brand new Ibanez rg2550, I got, a brand new Ibanez rg2550... here are some pics!

In review. Awesome guitar, for $500 with the case and all case candy, complete with new case smell. I am going to change the pickups and I am unsure if I want to keep the middle single. I haven't owned a guitar with a middle single for a while and it gets in the way a little. I am also considering changing the pickguard to a pearl white one! Originally I did not like the color of this stock pickguard, but it sure is groing on me after getting her home... by the way, I have a new favorite bridge, the EDGE PRO!! It's nice not to have to clip the ball end's of the strings for once.

WOW! That is an insane deal. I just bought one of those and paid 1200$CAD cash..... You got quite the deal there. Yours is pretty much in as good condition as mine, and mine was new! Unbelievable....

Looks awesome !! It may be the pics but the neck pup looks very close to the strings, maybe too close, I'd drop it 1mm or so ? I'd double check the intonation too. The middle single coil used to bother me, but you can lower it easily, and the clean sounds on positions 2 and 4 are lovely. Before you junk the bridge pup, try adjusting the pole pieces nearer the strings, gives it a lot more oomph !
