My "pimped up" MO guitar (pics).

Just thought I post some pics of my newly pimped up MO Ibanez.
Maybe all the gold is just too much? What do you think?

The pickups (witch is the pimp part) are DiMarzio's new cold top humbucker.
They look absolutely amazing.

The guitar is more purple then ot looks here.

The guitar is really darker then it looks in all the light, more like this.

Closer.

The pickups change colour depending on the angle od the light, as you can see here.

One more.

A JEM with the chrome version of the same pickups.

Yes, they do.
You can order all of there humbucker pickups with the option of gold or chrome tops now.
It makes them a bit more expensive, but I don’t know how much.

The cool thing about them is that the top is not some coloured plastic that will fade off in two weeks, it is gold or chrome metal and will never fade off. It is made the same way as jewellery is.
So the pickups are a little bit heavier (but the same size) then normal plastic tops.

I never make "Gee, yer geetar shure looks purty" posts but I believe in this instance, I'll have to make an exception. The matching pups and hardware look gorgeous.
