My RG8670TB for a JS1200. Is this a fair trade?

Well, I REALLY have no clue what my JC is worth, so would I or the other party need to add cash to the deal? My 8670 is in Exc++ condition, 1 small 1/2mm mark on the clear on the back edge on the body, and a 2mmx1mm ding down through the paint on the headstock. I can't get pictures at the minute, so I hope that's adequate. The JS is new and unplayed.

Thanks,

~Mylo

Imho, a mint 8670 is worth more than a new js1200. I'd look at asking for at least a couple of hundred quid on top of the js. Then again, I'd be keeping the 8670

The 8670 is the one with the flamed maple top and the vine inlay, right? IMHO it's probably worth quite a bit more than a JS1200 based on the appointments, but I don't have any hard and fast figures.

Here's a pic of my specific guitar -

My guitar seems to have a very pronounced burst compared to other TBs - but I've gone off of figured maple and bursts.

I'd ask £400 on top.

Nice guitar. Wish I had the money, else I'd be all over that.
You're not in the market for a mesa are you?

Re: My RG8670TB for a JS1200. Is this a fair trade?

Yeah it's entirely possible lol. I guess my tastes have just changed, really. Also, the neck profile isn't the most comfortable for me. I play my HM Strat more than this, even though I worked my arse off to get it, and it cost 4x what my strat did. I was all over this when I got it, but... it's not for me, I guess. Which is a shame, coz even though I'm not big on quilt tops, I love to just stare at this lol.

What kind of Mesa, Gurj...?

I'll send you the money for the JS if you send me that guitar.

Gorgeous guitar. You need more than a new JS for that.

OMG! That top is a beaut!
I'm with the others. They'd have to sweeten the pot some.
