Re: need advice on a guitartrade

You have a mighty fine axe. If you like the color on the other JC better and the nice vine over those classy offset dots - go for the other JC.

If you have lots of Ibanez RG's then maybe diversify your guitar portfolio with the TA (which looks totally SWEET btw).

The pics help alot.

I'd possibly KEEP the JC you already have or go for the TA, only because I'm not big on the finish of the other JC (I do like the vine though).

What pickup is in the bridge of your 8527?

That would be a tough trade to call...

Re: need advice on a guitartrade

Yeah, I'd keep the 7 stringer there, no doubt. I've played some Andersons that were completely average, so they aren't all outstanding. And the other JC just doesn't do it for me. I'd keep the 8527

Re: need advice on a guitartrade

I'm going to have to agree with most of the others here.

I've only played one Tom Anderson, which I know isn't enough to form a good opinion, but still I didn't like it that much.

You have a lovely J. Custom already, so why trade it?

Re: need advice on a guitartrade

Man, keep your guitar. TA's are over rated. The 8470 is a very nice guitar, I own a couple, but yours has a spectacular finish. I'd think twice about it if I were you.
