Need recommendations for neckthrough Ibanez

Hey all. I've decided to get myself a neckthrough Ibanez. I really wanna try one of those suckers. Can you guys recommend me a really good one? I like the neck on the Prestige guitars, so it would be cool if it was a Prestige. Do the J custom guitars have a neck that slim too? I will be replacing the pickups with EMG 81/85, so the quality of the pickups is not relevant.

Well, the three best Ibanez neck through guitars are the RGT220A (the one I would get) the RGT320Q (expensive as all hell but the best Ibanez there is, period) and the SZ4020FM (awesome guitar if you don't want a trem). The first two guitars have Wizard necks and the last one has a unique neck for that guitar. Some say paying extra for a neck through is kinda' pointless with a trem, as far as added sustain is concerned, but I can't say whether that's true or not.

EDIT: Oh, what I've said above only applies to Ibanez's regular line. I don't know jack about J-Customs

Thanks - just checked them out. I really like the RGT220H-SOL. Perhaps I should check that one out...

The RGT220 and RGT320 seem like great choices. I don't think the JC line has anything neck thru currently but they have made them in the past (RG21b is one of my personal favs).

I have a SZ4020ntf shown here:

This guitar plays as nice as it looks but is on the heavy side in comparison to an RG. I switch between the SZ4020 and my RGA121 for drop tunings and songs where I need to do double bends.

The older ('04 and previous) RGT3120's are nice but I think the necks are a tad chunkier than the RG Wizard necks.

The SZ4020FM is one sweet ass guitar. I was going to get one but ended up getting mesmerized by a Jackson USA Custom Select SLS (also neck through) and bought it instead. DAMN GAS!

Can't go wrong with a USA Jackson. I've had a couple and they are very nice. I love my SZ4020 but if given the choice I would have bought an SL1 or possibly and SLS instead.

I would avoid the RGT 320Q. I played one and it was nice, but not as nice as my j custom and the RGT was several hundred dollars more. Its the only Ibanez neckthrough I"ve played so I can't really comment on the other ones
