Need some help with usa custom

Hey guys, I got this guitar about three weeks ago, I was told it is a usa cutom (which it says on the headstock). he told me this paint job came from Ibanez.(???) I would just like you guys to tell me a little about it. your the pros. the serial is F915765 which i think is an 89 from japan, Is it an RG? other than that I would like to know the model name, maybe the pickups. just some general info. It is also autographed on the back of the headstock (not that I care) but it is someone named paul Grt??? maybe paul gilbert ,I dont know, anyway , I traded a couple of not so important guitars for this, so hopefully you guys will tell me I got a deal. It plays great ! here are the pics.....thanks...............mo

theres alot of info on these in the main section of jemsite, i think the paint jobs were done in US by a local artist, it could be his signature on the headstock. you should be able to find the specs in the main section. Im not sure when they changed the serial number scheme so it could be a 91.

Re: Need some help with usa custom

Thanks, this guy has another one on the wall for $600 same year same guitar except for the airbrush. the same guy traded both in. so if this is an exceptional deal let me know, I will run down and get it. If it is average I will let it go, I have bought 5 Ibanez guitars in the past month. I need to settle down, they are so addicting. I have another JEM on the way!!!!.................mo

Congrats on your new USA Custom!! I got one myself and love it! Depending on the condition of the guitars you probably scored a good deal on it.

(btw, the push-pull pots on your FP is a mod.)

The sig looks like Paul GIlbert's signature.
I can't see it clearly, but he always uses large spaces in his P and G, is there a musical note there too?

SWEET GUITAR BTW

The Necromancer's Castle. I'm pretty sure that's one of the more common ones. Still 6-7's a fair price.
