New addition to the family

Thought in sharing the new addition, a J-Custom S3040PL.

Comments indicate there were between 12 and 25 produced in 1997. Hope you guys enjoy the view as much as I'm enjoying playing it.

Gus.

Re: New addition to the family

Thanks guys.

I finally got to try what an ebony fretboard feels like... and it is simply stunning. Superb playability.

Got it from Anthony, another Jemsiter, very nice guy. Reasonably priced.

Gus.

Re: New addition to the family

Thanks much!

It does sound very good, I'm quite positively surprised, indeed. I'd like to think it is a combination of the ebony fretboard, the super-thin original Wizard neck and it being a seasoned instrument... it does play like butter and has got a very tight feeling to it in terms of resonance.

Here is a link to the specs from Rich's site (thanks!), in case somebody were interested.
