They appear only to have been made for the Ikebe stores. The pics are of the different HRG2001s that can be found at the various Ikebe locations.

I made my way through the text with an online translator, but it is still hard to decifer. If any of our Japanese reading friends can help, it will be most appreciated.

Somebody forgot to tell them maple/maple/maple is not a good tone combination. Interesting though.

Looks like it's made out of clay or some type of resin. *lol

I quite liked the all maple George Lynch guitars I've tried, they sounded really REALLY bright but I find that rather like that

If this guitar isn't hollow then it must weigh a ton. It's pretty, but I imagine too bright sounding for my tastes.

Looks like they've still managed to scrimp a bit even though it's a J-Custom i.e. the body looks rather thin for an RG (or maybe it's just the angle of the shots)

Nice idea and very pretty, but as others have said, probably sounds a bit odd.

Steve

P.S. Actually, I take that back, scrolled further down and everything looks in order depth-wise. *

Looks like an anemic Petrucci with gold hardware, sans the graphics... Maple and maple on maple may sound okay with the right pups (I've heard some very good all maple acoustics by Seagull), but it probably weighs a ton...

The Parker Fly Supreme is a solid block of maple - it was reviewed a while ago (two years?) in Guitarist in the UK. The guy said it wasn't as bright as he had anticipated, but "very full", because the Parker had some certain pickups or electronic jiggery-pokery in there.

It's not all bad - I'll take one!

Ikebe doesn't sell outside Japan, if Ishibashi is getting one that's your best bet. If not get ahold of Scott74 to pick it up for you. Course you'll have to wire him the cash first. Go Western Union, trust me, I just went through it.
