new J-Customs and Prestige

Everybody check out the news section of the Japanese Ibanez site under J-Custom and S Prestige
I personally love the Amber color in any flavor

Sincerely

Beautiful! Beautiful guitar! Of course, the list is about 25% over a Jem 7VWH, but if you're REALLY rich, that's the guitar! To quote the good Inspector: "Wowsers!"

Machinehead - one of the best guitar shops over here (if not *the* best) has a "JCRG 5VV" in stock at £1599 which is £300 below the list on a JEM 7 VWH !!!

Thanks for the links Jono.
Machinehead ain't too far from me.
Was just wondering if you've had any experience with their tech department.
I'll be taking in a JEM for a full setup and re-crown, quoted £75
Do you know the quality of their work?

Cheers
Steve

1600 GBP= $2344. USD. *No case; no shipping; no customs/duties.

Start saving your pennies folks. *:-)

If only they made a 7-string version of the JCRG-4 or JCRG-5.

Ripl3y - I love Barrie's setups he does all their stuff and I've never played a bad one there - he did my GMC and I have no complaints about that:biggrin:

Kevan - the tiny ickle reeeeally small plus point is that top of the range Ibanez's come with a case over here - yay) Hope you're still saving

Re: new J-Customs and Prestige

Gotta love how these really old treads somehow come back again... For a second there I was a bit surprised to see Ibanez issuing new J-Customs before they were scheduled to do so.
