New pups in my RG2570. Reverse bobbin colors?

Ordered tone zone and air norton pups, with white/black bobbins. also a true velvet middle pickup (plain black).

Every photo i've seen of guitars with this pickup combo / color scheme has the white portion nearest bridge and also nearest neck. It appears mine are backwards...

The pole adjustment screw side is always near the bridge and the neck on guitars - and in my guitar thats no different. just found it odd that the white/black were swapped.

anyone else have this problem?

I could have flipped the pups but the routed wire channel in the body would have been a problem, as they are designed to have the pickup lead in a certain spot..

well, its not a problem as such it just depends on the way they were ordered as white/black or black/white.
it looks ok to me with the neck pickup installed "upside down" so that the screws are up against the fretboard.. so they were ordered as black/white pickups instead of what you wanted - white/black..
you would have needed a white single cover too... no ?

ordered thru online vendor - only one black/white option was available. didn't see white/black as an option..

i left the single coil black, just personal preference.

i guess i wont worry about it too much.
