New RG2520

black one looks like 2620 without binding. I will buy the red one if it comes with mahogany body

Those beasts look mean, I'm really digging that red one. I don't think I have seen these on the Ibanez UK or USA website, can anybody confirm this?

Re: New RG2520

ooh another black guitar, yay (sarcasm). I like the red one at least. Not a fan of EMG's though, I don't hate them, I just don't see(or hear) why they're so popular.

Right, the "Monkey See, Monkey do" disease. So that's why American metal has sucked so bad since Metallica went ***(load, reload...anything since the Burton passed away exept Justice..), Metallica sucks, so every metal band had to suck to just to be like metallica.

Re: New RG2520

EMGs alone haven't caused modern styled American metal to go downhill, though they're good enough for cookie-cutter mediocrity.

EMGs are great if you 18v mod them, seriously. I think for the sort of thing I want to play, EMGs are far better than Dimarzios or SD (except blackout), but then again I am a Bareknuckle man.
