Its finally here, (actually its only been 8 days)

Here are some pics...I can take some better ones later....great setup and service from Ishibashi.

Fretboard reminds me of a Jem 555 - wide and flat almost no radius..the volume knob is kind of in an annoying place for my technique....and I am not crazy about the pickups.... pretty cool 5 way switch....but the fit finish and comfort is great....

Really nice case too....anywho, can anyone recommend some good pickups for a mahogany body? I am thinking lawrence xl 500 or emg 85....(I play rock to metal)

oh and the case material inside is actually red not pink...

Are the knobs flush with the top of the guitar, or are they recessed?

For pickups, my recommendation would be a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and either a '59 or a Jazz model in the neck. You can't go wrong with either combo.

the knobs are actually flush with the top of the guitar....duncan combo eh? I had a JB in an alder bodied guitar and I hated it...maybe it will sound better with mahogany...thanks!
