New TX Prestige...a blonde this time

Well, I seem to have a thing for these TX Presitige guitars...they really are nice instruments. *Had a red one, sold it. *Had a purple one, sold it. *Just picked up a natural finish...on the used rack in near mint condition (and at an incredible price!). *I've always been fond of figured tops, especially natural...so I think this might be a keeper.

The overall feel is incredible. *I'm surprised at how I've adjusted to the fatter neck, as I am a big fan of the original Wizard. *The ebony board is delicious, as is the finish...and the tone is exceptional. *The abalone dots and logo really light up with rich color on this one. *I'm still getting used to the gold w/cream pups...thinking about swapping for Cosmo/black pups, but the gold is growing on me.

The latest is the RGPR1...take a gander if you wish. *I included a "sofa shot" in the tradition of Rich and "Ibanez Rules."

(And before you say it...yes, I adjusted the trem right after the photo shoot!)

There are also some pics of Collective Soul in the "Wildflower" folder if you're interested...great show for 10 bucks!

Gorgeous!

Such great pics as well.

Personally I think some Zebra coloured pups would look nice in it.

Nice!

Definitely stick with the satin gold hardware... it's more unique than cosmo black, which is on just about everything in the Ibanez lineup... but if you DO want to swap it out, i'll take it off your hands! I kinda like the cream pickups on that guitar. It matches nicely with the binding.

Thanks for sharing the joy, guys. *I'm really pleased with it...this one may not be spending a lot of time in the case.

Glen, feel free to use the photos.

Well I can't speak for the red one, but he sold the purple one because I backed a truck load of money up to his house! *

Seriously, Greg is a great guy to deal with, and if he ever loses his mind again and decides to sell that natural finish Prestige, I can vouch for him. *That was a smooth transaction. *

Seems to me what you'd call satin gold. *It's not shiny like chrome, more like gold color with glossy clearcote.

The grain on that guitar is gorgeous. You better keep that one. *
