NGD (almost) Petrucci content!

Just picked up this baby on e-bay (havent got it yet, it only finished today) $1500AUD, which is about $1200 US, not bad!

Its almost mint, slight gloss patch and 2 tiny dots near the jack (going by the pics only, hopefully there is nothing else.

It could be the pictures, but those fret wires look HUGE! Did JPMs come with jumbos or were they larger?

My first thought of A RGD is, wow ibanez is bringing back the JPM - Steely vibe.... Shame they are both disscontinued I would of loved to own a steely sig...

On second look, it seems that the 24th fret is bigger than the 23rd. Anybody else seeing this or is it just me?

Its a little bit closer, and out of focus (I used Macro on the camera) so the 24th looks a little bigger.
I think the fretwire is 6105, but I'm not sure, I havent played a guitar with them. They're the same width as the frets on the Wizard on my S I believe, but they're a bit lower (It had a fret dress before I got it so that could be why)
And the bit of rust you can see on the trem isnt anywhere near as bad as the photo makes it look. I didnt even see it until I looked at the photo!

OK, I just found out that the Killzone mode : doesnt work because someone has re-wired the switch. Its also got a scratch tone pot and the volume pot is acting really weird.
If I turn it up from 0 to 10 it goes fine, but it stops short of being on full. It sounds like its sitting on about 8-9, but if I push on the knob or keep trying to turn it, it jumps up to 10, and falls back as soon as I stop. Also, when I roll it off, it goes down to about 4 on the knob, then the volume jumps back up to almost full?
Looks like the guitar is getting an appointment with a soldering iron and 2 new pots.
