Thanks guys. Yeah the finish is pretty much the same as the Jem Ham 90th.

Okay xclusivly4u here is the J Custom group shot that you requested. This pic really should have 5 J Customs in it as I bought an RG8520 on 3bay about a month ago which the seller never sent. Turned into a bit of a nightmare however Paypal refunded me in full after they froze the guys account and investigated the case. Anyway number 5 to hopefully follow soon.

Seriously though, how is the clean tone on RG-Metal? I am thinking to change pickups on my JEM90 as clean on 90 is not as nice as mahogany body RG, I am not sure it is due to constructions/materials or pickups.

The clean tones on the RG Metal are pretty good. All those J Customs have the Tone Zone/Blue Velvet/Air Norton pickups. I think the one that sounds best for clean bright tones is the RG Gold 2, it has an Ash body. The RG8470 and RG8670 are both mahogany and a bit darker sounding but still have nice clean tones. Those two guitars also have a great ring to them when you strum them unamplified.

If you're thinking about changing your pickups on the Jem 90th you might want to give Tim Mills at Bareknuckle pickups a bell. If you tell him about your guitar and the woods it's made from he will be able to advise you on what pickups to go for. He's a pretty knowledgable and helpful guy.

Keep an eye on the classified section. If it were to ever go up for sale, that's where it would go.

Guess i'm going to have to do that as long as I live. Anyone know the limited count number on this guitar, how many were made? They should re-issue this guitar in different metal colors..
