NGD! RG 570. And...what bridge is this?!

So, many years ago, when i started learning to play electric guitar (with one of the cheapest yamaha's at the time), a friend of mine asked if i wanted to try his RG 570 for some minutes. Man, it was magical, i knew this had to be the most comfortable and easiest to play neck than any other.

However, were i live (not USA) MIJ Ibanez were VERY expensive, and the used ones, were very rare and very expensive too.

So, after having tried Jacksons, Fenders, Gibsons, LTD's, Schecters that belonged to my friends and on some shops, i knew any of them didn't have the magic of that RG570 i played that time.

Anyways, i convinced the guy with the same RG570 i played many years ago, to sell it to me. I got it for (what would be in my currency) $320 USD, and damn, this is definitely what i always wanted

After all this cheesy story, my question would be. What bridge does it have? Its serial number starts with F62.

Original Edge trem. Thats what usually is on the 570 or the Lo-pro edge depending on year. Very good guitar and trem. Congrats and happy NGD.

Thanks to everyone!. This has to be the smoothest neck i've ever played. I wonder if it has to do something with the radius (being 430mmr).

Serial starting with 62 i also came to the conclusion it would be a 1996 year, but diden't think thay came with the superwizard until 1997 so i was a little confused.

Not really sure it's a 1996 tho, as a RG of that year should have the Lo-pro trem and a wizard neck,and this RG clearly not having that.

After checking many different pictures, i'm 99% sure this is an original Edge. I also wonder if its a Wizard or Super Wizard.

No dubt it's Original Edge. It's a super wizard neck. Thing is a 1996 RG570 should have the Lo-pro edge and a wizard neck(one without the bubinga stripe on back of neck).

Could be a 1996 neck used on a 1997 guitar, 97 models have the OE but Wizard neck??? I've seen lots of Ibanez that don't have the exact catalog spec though.

Well, as the neck is a superwizard (3piece maple/bubinga) that came out in 97, and OE also on the RG570, i guess that it could be a late 1996 with 97 specs. The serial indicates 1996 so that must be the case.
