NGD: RG1520PPN

So I got a GREAT deal on **** on an RG1520 in Poisoned Pumpkin. REminds me of the 2620 w/ the H/H setup in the Dimarzio IBZ pickups (these sound freakin' great to my ears actually, and I've had them on a BUNCH of guitars over the years and not liked them, I'm guessing they've been redesigned...) and a rosewood board. I'll post a pic shortly...awesome stuff on a non US model...think this was a Japan only run if I'm not mistaken since they do the maple 1550's here in Pumpkin and in that Phantom Blue too...

It's not Japan only it's a special run in non Japan/US countries I believe.

I almost bought the same guitar myself, but I'm still waiting to find my rg550xx in DY. So I had to hold out for now. But the PPN1520's are beautiful! congrats!

Yeah I know I know....maybe tomorrow or Friday. I'm in rig heck right now...LOL. Too much stuff all over...I've got a possible lock on a RG2620 in cubed blue that I'm thinking of grabbing too...

Still slacking on the pic situation....restrung it today tho' (along with 3 other RG's 2 6's and a 7)...I put 10's on it, just as I was stretching the B...PING! The saddle slid out of it's position and I had to reintonate it...too funny, truthfully I can't believe I NAILED it in 1 try...even with 10's, and lower action now...this thing SCREAMS. I left it in standard tuning...and it actually makes me want to explore playing in standard again. The pickups sound great too. My guess is that I probably won't change these...anybody got an idea what they're based on? I forget what the old DiMarzio/IBZ's where but they don't sound the same to my ears...
