I really love the thing, even the stock pickups sound pretty good. I might swap em out though for Blazes or maybe a Blaze neck and Evo7 bridge.

I'm also thinking of getting white pickups instead of black.

The case and the guitar feel so much heavier and more solid than my 6 string Rg.

Also I forgot to ask, the 1527 has a shiny clear finish on the neck and my 2570 is satin. Do all of them come like this?

Cool guitar, newbie. I've always really liked that one. It's been in production for a LONG time, hasn't it? It's really popular then, I guess.

In any case, I played the 7 string Saber today, at a friend's house. When I picked it up, I couldn't believe how much more heavy the neck was, in comparison to my 6 string. It's quite the change in feel, a 7 string.

And I mistook one string for another other all the time.

But it's super cool.
