Did you buy the TDB new??

The EP looks awful tight in the route. Comparing to mine, which is quite spacious, I'm wondering if Ibanez was throwing parts at your guitar or if someone switched it out after purchase?? Still doesn't explain the TRC, although that would be an easy addition if someone wanted to do it.
