NGD:RGT

2002 Ibanez RGT3120TV

I've had it for a little while, but didn't have the time to give it a proper setup. I just finished up intonation this morning. Man, what a beauty. The good thing about being an Ibanez guy is a lot of people don't know what they have, I got this for a steal. This was played very little, but hadn't been tended to in its 10 years of life. The strings were wrapped around the tuners the wrong way, the frets needed polishing and the fretboard needed a good cleaning and oiling. Has minimal pick swirls on the face and still had the plastic on the rear cavity covers. For the money, you can't beat a Prestige Ibanez RGT.

VERY NICE RGT MAN!!!!!!!

It's kind of funny, I've been looking for a nice TV to go with my TDB for a while now, but all I find is '03's. How much did you get yours for, if it's ok to ask???

Hopefully us "Chicago guys" will be cornering the market on RGT's one day.............

Re: NGD:RGT

I picked the TV up for $700, which after cleaned up I feel was a good deal. What's odd is my TDB is an '02 with '03 trimmings; edge pro & truss rod cover. I've always assumed it was a late in the model year transition.

I'm trying to corner the RGT market myself. Damn, I love these guitars!

That's odd.......first "transitional" RGT I've heard of......pretty cool though, especially considering you have the correct '02 hardware on the TV.

I don't know why I keep turning my nose up at the EP, It really is a great trem.
