Nice Prestige RG crossbreed project - take a look! [2550Z + 1570 + x]

Hi guys,

here's the result of my latest RG crossbreed project. I call it RG2770C-MBR.

* Neck from a 2008 RG2550Z-WH
* Body from a 2006 RG1570MBR "Mirage Blue"
* EDGE Pro bridge
* Clear pickguard with clear knobs
* DiMarzio Humbucker from Hell (neck), IBZ USA C2 (middle), Super Distortion (bridge)

nice, I like it!!
The knobs I am so so on but it is still a sweet guitar. So that is a new neck with a tilted headstock so retainer, but with an Edge Pro... nice
I actually REALLY like that color, I almost bought a MBR once but I didn't like the dots

I like the combo of the clear guard, knobs, and the 1570 body. Very nice!

Thanks a lot guys. Shared fun is double the fun.

Did you notice two very small details:

(a) the pickups are direct-mount with the screws accessible through the pickguard mounting holes.
(b) the intonation screws on the EDGE Pro have been replaced by stainless steel screws that don't get stripped as easy as the originals because they're harder.

I love my RG1570 and would like to put a pickguard on it. Can you tell me where I can order one similar to yours? I like the hole placement and that the toggle is cut perfectly for it. The ones I've seen on the bay wouldn't look as good on the 1570 and I want to retain the flush body mounts for the pups, etc.
