Odd LACS model sighted

I passed by Sam Ash the other day and saw a LACS 7 string model hanging. Verified the serial number and it sure was an LACS... Don't remember if it had a blank fretboard or offset dots but the specs looks similar to a JCRG3-VV with a couple exceptions:

direct mounted EMG 707's
U-bar trem system

I tried playing the guitar and the trem was blocked... totally defeats the purpose of the U-bar... didn't plug it in but we can assume it sounds like an EMG fitted Ibanez.

now to the questions: any clue whose model this was for? perhaps sighted somewhere? is it worth getting for over a grand?

sounds like a steal if the EMGs were installed originally and the trem can be unblocked.

If you get it, be sure to post some pics

I think almost any LACS is worth a grand. (If you like the specs, offcourse)

Am I the only person waiting to see this thing? You need to go back to that GC and either buy it or get some picks for us. I have a LA Custom Shop Designed 7 string with EMG's, it is the best 7 string I have ever had.
