Opinions needed
If my FGM100 doesn't sell I was thinking of putting a cool rendition of The Joker on it but wanted to get some opinions first from peeps to see what they thought of it.
Before anyone mentions the positioning the left side of his face and body fades into nothing pretty much what is there is the entire graphic.

Re: Opinions needed
I'm pretty much against "art guitars" in general, Ive never seen one I enjoyed...
I like that image though...

I'm up in the air on them too but this graphic is pretty cool. That's why I was thinking about it

Re: Opinions needed
Well, what I really HATE, with a passion, is the art guitars in Austin, Tx.
They paint these perfectly awesome
Les Pauls
with these funky, fugly paint jobs. They even make them unplayable by painting the frets/board. Some of them are covered in little mirrors... you should go take a walk down 6th street sometime... Ugly as he**. They even charge outrageous prices... saw the one wit the mirrors for 6k. S**t, I wanna slap the guy who thinks this is cool...
HES WASTING ALL OUR TONEWOODS!

Re: Opinions needed
Why are you selling the FGM? You're crazy man! Unless you've found a better FGM and need the cash.
Please don't paint it. Keep this thing in tact!

Re: Opinions needed
Yeah, your FGM looks like its in great condition. My FGM100BK is a 1991 and has a few battle scars, if it was in the same condition as yours I wouldn't be messing with it

Don't get rid of guitars only add to what you have.

Re: Opinions needed
Ha ha. Wifey says I can't add to the collection. 7 is enough. And well I REALLY want a blue SV5470 because of the 24 frets and I really don't play this one as much as I probably should.
But this thing was hard to find in the first place. If it was the powder blue one I would definitely hold off on selling it or painting it.
Argh! You guys are tempting me to leave it alone.

I always say 10 is a nice round number to have. With that in mind, you have 3 free slots available to add to your collection
I like the look of the SV5470F myself in DSB.
Back on topic, cool graphic, but maybe for a project guitar...

I believe a few guys (bammbamm to be one of them) have put it very well by saying....
"it is easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission sometimes"
Cool graphic, not for me, but still very cool. Being a model that is becoming more rare by the year, I'd have to say leave it as is. Just my 2cents.

Re: Opinions needed
^ For sure. It would be quite hard to replace a FGM100 in good condition i'd imagine. I know you don't see them in my neck of the woods, or i'd have bought one.
Rock on!
