Re: Original PGMs
^ When he did his tour in the UK there were VIP tickets that included an hour
guitar
lesson. You also got to watch sound check. I think it was like 100 quid for all of that.. so you add up if it's worth it!
Infact on the PG website it says about the VIP treatment

I did not get VIP tickets. I just hangged in there after the show.
Paul
's guitar tech is a cool guy and he showed everybody the guitars. And he explained all about Paul's rig!
Then Paul came along... and he autographed everything. Cool guy, too!

well how come its not on the ibanez website? are these just custom? or are they official PGM's???
also, since 2009 marks the 20th anniversary, is he going to launch a 20th anniversary? or is the 401 going to be the anniversary PGM??

The Ibanez website is the LAST place new models will be released. Sometimes it takes weeks after NAMM to see the new stuff in the official site. Great guitars for good prices, but a company that markets them poorly.
This new sunburst dual-humbucker is indeed an official production PGM. There is abundant evidence to suggest that there will be another one this year, the Fireman. Read this thread & the 2009 speculation thread.

Re: Original PGMs
When PG played belfast here , the fans waited outside his tourbus for over 3 hours , and after several "is he doing a signing session" YES headnods from the driver, everyone was left soaked, frozen at 4am as the bus drove off.
Totally uncool
