pickguard on a prestige RG1570?

I've added a pickguard to my 570. Looks awesome. I'm no luthier either. Was pretty simple to do.

I have added one to my RG1527. Fit perfectly and looks great!

I've got plans to shape a pickguard out of edge glow acetate with some custom engraving for my 1570. Thinking bout green edge glow and then add a couple of green Dimarzios to the equation.

If I ever get time to do this I'll post the pics on here...

heres my rg 1570.


just predrill the screw holes and use tape around the bit to gauge the depth needed.
also get a guard with the larger holes for the tone and volume pots and cut out for the switch.

I like my guitar the way it is now, I dont think it will look good on a MRB

I prefer it without the pickguard...just my 2 cents
