Pictures of the 2006 RG2550E

Hey - does anyone have pictures of the RG2550E? I'm looking to buy one but I can't tell what the finish really looks like from the catalogue/website. And is the pickguard really black mirror or is it that greyish colour on the website? Thanks

It looks both greyish and purple, but more greyish, kinda greyish-purple. The longer I look at it the less I can tell...

I'd say it's more purple than grey. I've had mine since '03 now... Great guitar! God i want another Prestige or J-Custom! Inlays are the same color.

Not a bad pic at all - actually I played a 2570 a few months back and wasn't too fond of the finish - I love the inlays and the bound fretboard, but it seemed like the finish could chip easily . . . how long have you had yours, and have you had any problems?

yea i thought the same thing espeically the paint round the edges, the first few months i had it i was so fagile with it, i would move it around carefully and when ever i put it down on a table or somethin i would put cloth underneath it lol

i had it for over a year now and the finish is still awesome, i did bump the guitar on the table once and it didn't chip it off (thank god)
