Pink J-Custom HRG01FM NK pictures

I just bought this off of evilbay. It's a Ibanez J-Custom HRG01FM NK (Elegant Pink). I had to sell my 2003 UV777BK & my 2005 Jem BRMR to pay for her, but it was well worth it. There is nothing wrong with this guitar. I need to oil the fretboard, it's a little dry. I also need to do the locking stud mod since the Edge Pro has no lockers. I'll do that soon but wanted to post pictures for you all.

I'm a little hazy on the specs on this guitar since there is so little info available on the net (that I've found anyway). It appears to be a Ibanez J-Custom HRG01FM NK (Elegant Pink, and yes NK, it's that way on the Certificate). Made in 2004 for the Ikebe shop ONLY, a very small number made. I was told 15 total, but I have no idea as to how accurate that is.

This is such an awesome axe. It looks awesome and play awesome and sounds super f'n kickazz. It's a little weighty, but that's expected from Mahogany.

So what are they worth Rich - about a million bucks? I'd sooner buy one of those than a JEM 20th!

Yeah that was only site I found that had specs. I was confused because the guy(I bought it from) listed it as a 2006 model with rosewood board. He had everything else right though.

It came with Gotoh strap buttons/straplocks in little ziplocks with Japanese text iinstructions. Do you know if that was something they put in as an extra in addition to the plain strap buttons currently installed ?

That's awesome man. Ebony just owns any other board wood and works great with clean sounds when you use the single coil. Congrats!

The green is nice as well. I don't understand why we can't get them in the US. Why would they not take advantage of the US market? It would look good with all white pups too.

Rick my understanding is they (Ibanez) sell all the can make and the US arm does not want the hassle.

Thanks guys, I'm real happy with my new axe. The pups in this thing are great. I'm even impressed with the single coil. I've never had a single coil that sounded good, but this blue velvet one actually sounds awesome.
